Just for Fun, with a Little Surprising Info
I've heard a few people make a comparison between breast and fruits before but I never really understood the connection until recently. After doing some research on the internet and with books, I've been able to see the resemblance. It's quite cool actually how you can use a fruit to describe and compare the breasts. I think this makes bra shopping a little easier.
Ok, so let us start comparing out breasts to fruits and see what we may find:
Plum: These are usually breasts that are small and barely noticeable.
 You will probably be able to wear an AA cup or smaller.
Depending on your band size the styles for AA cups may be a little limited. Bra sizes 32 - 36 AA can try lovely styles such as Grenier 8230, Panache 1044 and Panache 4040.
As the band gets bigger is gets a little harder to find a proper fitting AA cup bra. At this point you can use your Sister Sizing to help you find a nice bra that fits comfortable.
If you are a 38AA then you can try 40A. Here are a few styles to choose from: Anita 5651, Leading Lady 5028 and Conturelle 80610.
If you are a 40AA then you can try a 42A. Here are few styles for you: Anita 5448 and Leading Lady 5028.
If you are a 42AA then you can try a 44A. Here a couple of styles to choose from: Anita 5409 and Anita 5651.
Lemon: Usually breasts that are developing.
 You should try an A cup.
Depending on age the firmness of the breast on an A cup will vary. Younger breast tend to be a little firmer while the older we get the less firmness we have. Some styles of bras will work better for a firmer A cup rather than for a less firm A cup.
If you have firmer breast styles like push up bras, plunge bras and balcony bras will look beautiful on you giving you great shaping, lift and support. Check out these great styles you may enjoy: Le Mystere 2215, Felina 6502, Conturelle 80609 and Panache 1044.
A less firm bust will benefit from styles such as padded bras and underwire bras which give you more support and a more rounded natural look. You can try styles such as: Marie Jo 0101026, Natori 132025 and Simone Perele 165342.
Orange: Usually are rounded, ample and perky.
 You should try on a B cup.
Perky B cups can benefit from styles such as push up bras and Plunge bras which give you nice shaping and lift. You can try styles such as: Le Mystere 2215, Conturelle 80610 and Chantelle 3202.
A less firm B cup needs lift and support. Styles like molded bras and underwire bra such as Huit SMOB9 and Marie Jo 0100415 can provide the lift and rounded look necessary.
Grapefruit: Usually are full and rounded.
 You should try on a C cup.
C cups tend to be a little fuller therefore T-shirt bras and Demi cup bras provide nice shaping and support. Styles like the Chantelle 3261 and Huit JEAC5 will look really nice under your tops.
A less firm C cup can still benefit from T-shirt bras as well as seamless bras. Seamless bras like the Fantasie 4520 and the Prima Donna 01613376 help hold the girls nicely in the cups while providing the support needed.
Cantaloupe: Usually fuller and with more heaviness than a grapefruit.
 You may sag a little but nothing too dramatic. You should try on a D or DD cup.
D and DD cups that are full can wear underwire bras, t-shirt bras and seamless bras that provide nice support. Be careful with the lace bras and regular bras that have cups with material that is stretchy because they may still sag. A good fitting bra such as Le Mystere 9955, Prima Donna 0161563 and Prima Donna 0161810 provide beautiful coverage, support and lift.
Honeydew: usually really full breast.
 You may sag due to heaviness. You can try on a DD cup or even higher (F, FF, G, GG, H, HH, I, J, JJ, K, L). Enter your size into our "Find the Right Style" box for many listings in your size.
DD cups and higher tend to be really full and sag because of the heaviness therefore you need a bra that is pretty supportive, full coverage and uplifting. A great style that is really supportive and looks phenomenal in the bigger cup sizes is Elixir G10833. The secret to getting a nice rounded shape is getting a bra with three sections such as Fauve 0002 and Conturelle 80505.
