Teen Guide - Breast Development Concerns
Breast development is unique to each and every girl. Breasts can start growing as early as age 8 or up to age 15, usually with the start of puberty. It seems like every girl has some concerns when she starts developing. Some girls worry their breasts are too small or not growing yet, while some girls worry that their breasts are too big and hard to hide.
While worrying about your breast development is common, it's often unnecessary and never useful. Although breast size gets a lot of attention, there aren't any magic pills, creams or exercises that can make breasts grow slower, faster or smaller or larger. Breasts can continue to grow during the teen years and even into the early twenties.
Fully developed breasts come in all shapes and sizes, sometimes with one breast larger than the other. This is natural, and absolutely nothing to worry about. And good news, these concerns are so common that there are lots of solutions!
To work around uneven breasts many women use removable padding in one cup. There are push up and padded bras designed to give extra lift to smaller chests and minimizer bras and contour bras to help girls who'd prefer a smaller silhouette. The truth is that there are all sorts of female shapes and sizes in the world, and they are all beautiful.
