When ordering I originally thought that there would be underwires. There aren't, and when I took the suit out of the package I immediately thought it wouldn't fit because the cups looked too small and insubstantial. I was wrong! No, they don't lift or provide too much support, but this suit still looks far better than the others I have tried on. Better than any tankini or other one piece which always seems to be too short for my torso once you factor in breast size. I am a 40DDD, 195lbs, 5'4 and I consider myself to have a longer torso. This suit fits great and is so slimming. The straps don't dig in, the front is not embarassingly low cut, and the bottoms provide full coverage. The back is a very low scoop which actually makes this suit more fashionable for a once piece. I am already recommending this to a few friends who feel self conscious in bathing suits due to extra weight or larger breasts. It makes me look 10-15 lbs slimmer, but doesn't have the constricting feeling of one of those other slimming suits. It is easy to get on and off and I am actually excited for the pool.... for once! Great price, too. Per the European sizing I ordered a 40F.
