This brief gives great waist support, probably nocked two inches off my waist. The upper boned section is very comfortable and it is easy to put on with the front closing hook and eyes and the hidden zipper which does not show thru the finest fabrics. I get the support I need from the waist section and particularly love the delicate panty fabric over my hips where I don't need any help. Pay particular attention to sizing table as this is a little different. I ordered 1X instead of my usual 3X and that fits just fine. A little pricey but well worth it for me as I just love up scale undies.
