Q1. Are Bra Sizes different for different manufacturers?
Bra sizes may very between different manufacturers. When you're fitting your bra, we suggest you use your best fitting bra as a starting point.

Q2. What cup sizes are considered for small-busted woman?
Always take your measurements or have someone do the measuring for you, but typically "AA" to "A " would be the cup size. This is where your breasts are firm and spread further apart. A properly fitted bra will cup breasts for a light support and natural shape.

Q3. What cup sizes are considered for average-figured woman?
Always take your measurements or have someone do the measuring for you, but typically "B" to "C" would be the cup sizes. This is the most common bra size. Breasts can be firm or fleshy, depending on age and overall figure type. A bra can easily shape as necessary.

Q4. What cup sizes are considered for full-figured woman?
Always take your measurements or have someone do the measuring for you, but typically "C" and above would be the cup sizes for young, full-busted woman. Breasts are fuller, firmer, and require support. They can be easily lifted and molded for attractive shaping.

Q5. What if I'm a mature full-figured woman. What cup size is best for me?
Always take your measurements or have someone do the measuring for you, but typically "C" and above would also be the right cup size for you. Breasts are larger and have less elasticity. They need firm support and complete cup coverage for additional shaping.

Q6. What if I have "plus-sized" breasts. What cup size is best for me?
Always take your measurements or have someone do the measuring for you, but typically 38-50 "B" and above would be the right cup size for you. A "plus size" figure with a woman's dress size of 14+. The back or body size is larger yet the breasts are not necessarily fuller. A bra that is designed to the proportions is necessary for proper comfort, shaping and support.

Q7. How do I know my bra is the proper fit for me?
If you follow this check list, then you have the proper fitting bra.
  1. The cup should completely contain the breast with the exception of push-up bras and demi- wire styles.
  2. The breast should not spill over the top or sides of the cup. This indicates that the cup may be too small.
  3. The cups fit smoothly. Gaps or puckering indicates that the cups are too large.
  4. The bra should be snug but not too tight around the body.
  5. The back of the bra should stay down and not ride up on the back. This indicates a large band size. Try one band size smaller.
  6. The center of the bra should lie flat against the breastbone. Otherwise, the cups may be too small. Try a larger cup size or a different style.
  7. The straps should be adjusted to support comfortably without pressure or cutting.
  8. The bra feels comfortable.

Q8. I am pregnant. What are some helpful tips for maternity bras?
Here are some helpful tips for the right maternity bra.
  1. Shop for nursing bras in the last trimester of pregnancy to assure a lasting fit.
  2. Bras should securely support but not bind under the breast. Constricting the breast could affect milk flow.
  3. Breasts continually change in both shape and size throughout pregnancy. Choose a bra with a roomy cup design so that the breasts can expand once your milk comes in.
  4. The upper side of the cups should be loose without sacrificing comfort or support. If breasts enlarge beyond a couple a sizes, refitting may be necessary.
  5. Try on bras with a breast pad or shield. Place the pad inside the cups to check for fit. The center of the bra should lie flat against the breastbone and the bra shouldn't ride up in the back. Ride-up indicates that the band may be too large, the cups or shoulder straps too tight, or the need for more support.
  6. The bra should fit comfortably when fastened on the middle row of back hooks. This will allow for changes in body size as the pregnancy progresses and after delivery.

Q9. How do I choose which style bra is right for me?
To find the right style for you go to our styles guide page.

Q10. How do I clean my lingerie correctly?
Ideally, your bras should be washed every day by hand. This will remove body oils, preserves the color of you bra, and lengthen its life. If you have two bras and wear them in turn, washing them each one after a day's wear, they should last for three months. Never put bras in a clothes dryer. Air dry only. Also check our lingerie care page.

Q11. Do all of your bras come in more then one color?
Most of our bras come in more then one color. You will notice color choices in the selection boxes for items.

Q12. Are there any health risk involved when wearing the wrong size bra?
Wearing the wrong size bra or a badly fitting bra can result in back problem, headaches, neck strain, rashes, and pulled ligaments. This happens when the bust is not well supported by the bra, because your breasts may begin to droop and fall to the bottom of the cup. The breast tissue will roll off the chest wall and under the arm, thus pulling the neck. This can result in headaches, since the muscles being pulled in the shoulders go all the way to the head. Reduced blood flow to the head can casue headaches and backaches, as the extra weight of the bust places more pressure on the back.

Q13. How can I fix those health risks?
These problems can be remedied by wearing the right bra. In this case, and underwire bra will take the strain and open up the chest so that you can breathe properly. It allows the proper blood flow to rebuild.
