TIP: Never wash you lingerie with Woolite, it is for wool garments. It causes lingerie and bra fabric pores to clog. Hand Wash - Preferred Method
  1. Washing your intimates by hand will preserve the life of the garment. Washing machines may snag, twist or stretch the garment.


  2. In a deep sink with cold water pour some gentle detergent such as Ivory Snow, Dreft, Baby Shampoo or Lingerie Wash.


  3. Emerge your garments in the water and gently rub them with your hands while using enough water making sure that you are removing all traces of lotions and sweat.


  4. Rinse garment with cold water.


  5. DO NOT wring or twist garment, that will cause wrinkles. Place them between 2 clean, dry towels and gently press to remove excess water.


  6. Drip dry or lay flat.

Machine Wash - Use machines at your own risk, they are notorious for damaging bras.
  1. Use a lingerie bag to help prevent any snagging or twisting of the garment.


  2. Always make sure that all the hooks and eyes are securely fastened to prevent them from getting tangled.


  3. Wash on delicate cycle at a cool temperature with gentle detergent like Ivory Snow, Dreft, Baby Shampoo or Lingerie Wash.


  4. Line dry or lay flat to prolong the life of the garment.
TIPS:
Never wash you lingerie with Woolite. It causes fabric pores to clog.

Do not dry your lingerie in a dryer because the heat breaks down the Lycra, Spandex and Elastic.

Don't line dry garments in the sun to prevent any fading.

Storing your Lingerie
Prevent any snagging by storing your lingerie separately.
  • - Underwired Bras can be safely folded in the middle.


  • - Molded Cups Bras/Padded Cups should be laid flat to maintain their shape their shape.


  • - Merry Widows, Bustiers and Corsets should be rolled length wise so that the boning doesn't bend. Always lay them flat.
Packing your Lingerie
  1. When traveling, always pack your lingerie in the same way you would store them.


  2. All toiletries should be packed safely in baggies. This prevents them from spilling on your intimates and ruining them.
Tip: Watch out for Velcro Closures in your suit cases and clothing to prevent them from getting caught on your garments and causing snagging.

Removing Wrinkles
DON'T iron your lingerie. To get rid of wrinkles use gentle steaming.
